Final Exams- June 6 and June 9
Exams will take place in the mornings. Students will need to be picked up from school at the end of exams each day.
Year-End Camping/Bike Trip June 10-12

Gear you will need for upcoming Camping/Biking Trip June 10-12
Our trip leaves campus on Tuesday, June 10 and returns on Thursday, June 12.
Here is a list of important items to bring with you. Remember that space is limited, so pack your
stuff as small as possible. Do not bring bulky extra items.
PERSONAL GEAR
a sleeping bag and a stuff sack to put it in
a sleeping pad that packs up small
bike and bike helmet
If you do not have any of the above items, the school has some to loan out. Let us know ASAP.
Day of Departure Dress
We will be completing a hike on the first day as well as setting up camp. This same clothing will likely be perfect for our bike ride on day two.
A small day pack containing:
A water bottle
1 raincoat
A light extra layer (fleece or sweater)
Sunscreen (this can be shared)
Wear clothing you can hike in appropriate for the weather:
1 t-shirt ( polypropylene or other synthetic will keep you warmer – avoid cotton )
non-cotton, quick dry pants OR shorts if weather is good
shoes for hiking – running shoes are fine. No open toe sandals or flip flops
sun hat
sunglasses
CAMPSITE CLOTHES – packed in duffel bag or back pack with your name clearly visible
1 pair pants (avoid cotton)
2 pairs shorts
Rain pants
1 t-shirt (avoid cotton)
1 wool sweater or fleece
2-3 pairs socks (one pair wool is recommended)
1 toque (it might be cool at night)
Swimsuit
towel
1 pair extra gloves
extra shoes
long underwear top and bottom●
clean underwear for day two and three
flashlight or headlamp
Remember basic toiletries (tooth brush, toothpaste*, contact lens solution, medication etc.
wash cloth, soap*, sunscreen*) * means try to share so we don’t bring 18 tubes of
toothpaste or bars of soap.
DO NOT BRING
Food of your own (this presents a bear risk – no food in tents ever!)
knives, radios, hair dryers, make-up, fragrances, technology, etc, or anything valuable or fragile
